This is my first time trying my hand at a blog outside of the few things I have posted on Myspace or Facebook. I could see how this could be very useful for teachers to share information with their students about upcoming events and class assignments. I'm excited to check this out some more.
I agree. This looks like a place to post activities or assignments for your class. Even require them to post some many per assignment.
ReplyDeleteGood -- I've seen a creative assignment where the English teacher had students read so many pages a day and blog as though the students were particular characters in the novel that they were reading. Blogs work better for me as a tool for very specific assignments.
ReplyDeleteWOW, that is a great idea too Anne. I agree with you on the specific assignments. This is also a great tool to use for shy students that won't participate in class but will write up a storm for you on something like this. They have a lot to say, just afraid to say it in front of everyone in class.
